|The Scot's Welcome Celebration|
|Date:||Spring of 1558|
|In Honour of:||Queen Mary|
|In Attendance:||King Henry|
|Description:||Celebrting the union between France and Scotland|
Francis and Mary realize they need to manipulate Catherine and Henry to somehow destroy the contract. So as to keep their plans a secret, Mary throws a party for the Sots, and makes sure to invite Lord McKenzie and his men.
Before the end of the Celebration, Mary meets with Lord McKenzie in private to talk about the reason they are actually there.
Mary informs them about The Crown Matrimonial. She tells them to take the news home and tell Lord Hardy, the leader of The Protestant and who opposes her mother, Marie de Guise. Convinced with Mary's willingness to declare war for Scotland, they bow to their Queen.
- 4 April 1558 Mary, Queen of Scots knowingly signed The Crown Matrimonial, a secret agreement bequeathing Scotland and her claim to England to the French crown if she died without children.
- The Battle of Solway Moss was a real battle between Scotland and England. However King James V never fought, and fled the battle, only to die soon after.
- Mary Fleming was born in 1542, the same year her father was taken prisoner by the English at The Battle of Solway Moss.
