The Italian Wars were a series of conflicts from 1494 to 1559 that involved France, Spain, the Holy Roman Empire, England, and Scotland.

Season OneEdit

Pilot
King Philip of Spain married Princess Elisabeth of France as part of a union between their two country, and putting an end to The Italian Wars.

Season TwoEdit

King Antoine tells his brother Louis Condé that during the The Italian Wars their 3rd brother Marcus de Bourbon was murdered by one of King Henry's men. Possibly Sebastian.


Sebastian admits to King Antoine he stabbed his brother in the back, Marcus de Bourbon on orders of his father, King Henry. But at the time he did not know who he was. He was simply following orders.

HistoryEdit

King Henry II signed the Peace of Cateau-Cambrésis with King Charles V and England, ending The Italian Wars.

* 22 June 1557
The treaty was sealed by the betrothal of Princess Elisabeth to King Philip II of Spain.
