Pietro de' Medici is a member of the Medici family, he is quiet but when he speaks he is very rude to those around him.

PersonalityEdit

Much like his other family members, more specificallly, Cortenza de' Medici, Pietro de' Medici is very rude and isn't afraid to kick someone when they are down. He originally comes to France to help his cousin Catherine de' Medici against her husband in a show of power. However once that did not work he wanted Catherine to end her own life then discriminate the family name with a divorce.

Early LifeEdit

The Medici family put pressure on The Catholic Church for Pope Paul IV not to see King Henry of France as he was seeking to gain a divorce from their cousin, Catherine de' Medici.

Season 1Edit

Pietro de' Medici and Francesca de' Medici traveled to France ahead of King Henry. They came to visit Catherine de' Medici to stop the king's attempt to divorce their cousin. They explained the gravity of the situation and Pietro informed Catherine that she might be beheaded if they fail.

The next day, Pietro and Francesca met with Catherine in the garden to get information from a wet nurse. When the nurse wouldn't give them information on the location of a baby they took her to the dungeon and put her on the rack. Not long after they got the information they were looking for.

Once they realized their effort might be in vain, they told Catherine to end her life, instead of being divorced and executed by king Henry. He and Francesca soon returned to Florence, Italy.
