Early life[]
Olivia D'Amencourt and Prince Prince Francis shared a mathematics tutor. They later began seeing each other in secret and were caught hooking up in a boat house by Queen Catherine. Soon after, Olivia left to marry another man, leaving Francis heartbroken.
Season 1[]
Olivia returns to court after having been attacked in the woods. She is escorted to the infirmary and cared for by Francis. Mary's attempt to befriend her goes awry when she brags about knowing Francis' desires. She then confesses her feelings for Francis to him, leans in for a kiss, and for a very brief moment, he kisses her back. He soon breaks the kiss up, though.
Olivia walks with Francis and admits that she hasn't seen him in a while. She then tells him that if he ever yearns for someone he can be sure of, someone who wants only him, he knows where to find her.
By the end of the episode, he knocks on her door and she lets him in. They start making out and he tells her that he can't promise her anything.
