Lady Madeleine is of French faith and upbringing. Although she is not of royal blood, she is raised from noble birth. She is to be Prince Charles' wife when she turns of age, at 14.
Madeleine is young but already has a bold personality. After traveling by ship alone she still acted as a perfect young lady and curtsied to the much shyer Charles. She is bold in her actions but has a small voice.
Lady Madeleine was raised with her two parents and appears to be an only child. She is well educated and comes from a rich background and is red-blooded French through and through.
Once tensions died down Madeleine presents herself as a perfect lady, but the shy Prince Charles stood back. Queen Mary went forward to introduce herself to the young girl and explained who she was. She then walked over with her to Charles who gave her a flower he found on the ground and they both greeted each other more properly.
Back at court Prince Charles & Lady Madeleine were playing with the servants, both in fancy white clothing.
The next day at a picnic for the newly engaged couple, a blindfolded Charles and Madeleine played a game. Charles wasn't listening to Lady Madeleine, while the frustrated Madeleine wasn't speaking loud enough. After a couple minutes, the young Madeleine stomped over to Charles and took off his blindfold, annoyed he couldn't distinguish her voice from the others in the group.
